Reflecting on 2025: A Year of Growth, Connection, and Representation

As the year draws to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the milestones, conversations, and moments that shaped All Shades in 2025. Every year in business is a journey, but this one felt particularly special.

We grew in unexpected ways, connected with customers more deeply than ever, and saw first-hand how powerful representation can be when it’s woven into everyday gifting.

A Moment to Remember: 10 Downing Street

December brought one of our proudest moments yet — the opportunity to attend a Small Business Showcase at 10 Downing Street with Wakuda.

Stepping through those iconic black doors, carrying the mission of All Shades with us, was a moment of pride and reflection. It reminded us just how far this brand has come — and how far representation can reach when it’s powered by community.

It wasn’t lost on us that a brand built on affirming Black and Brown stories was now being celebrated at the heart of British business.

Conversations That Stay With Us

Beyond that unforgettable day, 2025 was filled with pop-ups, markets, and meetups where we met so many of you in person.

The conversations we had — where customers shared how meaningful it was to finally see themselves represented on cards and stationery, or where parents told us how proud their children felt — are what keep us grounded.

Representation isn’t abstract; it’s lived, felt, and deeply personal. Every smile, every story, every “I’ve never seen this before” reaffirmed exactly why All Shades exists.

Your 2025 Favourites

As we look back, we wanted to highlight a few products that truly defined this year — items that sparked joy, connection, and conversations about identity and pride.

All Shades Badges

Our All Shades Badges became one of the year’s biggest hits. These small but mighty accessories turned out to be powerful conversation starters — celebrating identity, culture, and everyday self-expression.

We loved seeing them pinned to backpacks, denim jackets, lanyards, and tote bags at every event. Each badge carried a quiet message of pride and visibility, showing how even the smallest details can speak volumes.

“God Says You Are” Notebook & Stylus Pen

Our “God Says You Are” Notebook and Stylus Pen Set became a favourite for moments of reflection, journaling, and gifting. Rooted in faith and affirmation, it offered customers a meaningful space to write, pray, and plan.

Many told us it was the perfect balance between beauty and encouragement — a reminder of worth and identity that fits right into daily life. Whether gifted or kept personal, this set quickly became one of our most loved.

“I Am Black, Beautiful, A Force” Notebook & Stylus Pen

Empowering and unapologetic, our “I Am Black, Beautiful, A Force” Notebook and Stylus Pen Set spoke directly to strength, pride, and self-definition.

This design became a customer favourite for its bold message and modern aesthetic — a daily affirmation for the women who continue to make things happen in their own way.

Every time someone picked one up at a pop-up, it reminded us that stationery can be more than functional — it can be affirming.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we step into 2026, we’re carrying all of this with us: the stories, the recognition, the support, and the reminder that representation — when done with intention — creates impact.

We have exciting plans for the year ahead, including new collections, expanded stationery, and more designs that celebrate Black and Brown stories with creativity, care, and joy.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for choosing to support a brand that reflects you. Here’s to another year of growth, connection, and representation that truly matters.
